Window cleaning tips specific to the fea? I seem to have a drunk flying fairy problem.

Witchhazel & dishwashing liquid - 1 to 3 ratio. Just spray on lightly and wipe off. You can get fancy and use rowan wood and red thread, but finding rowan in this country is a chore. Alternatively, put your clothes on inside out to render yourself invisible to the fae. Also invisible to a lot of other people who are going to be too polite to mention your sartorial choices.

Three times my height of course, and with a stone with a natural hole.

[–] Thornburywitch@aussie.zone 3 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Of course! I've found the stone with a hole is more effective if carried in the hand, or at least tied to a piece of string for using as bolas. Works on more than just fae too.

I like bolas! Much more effective on muggers than a bowl of milk. Though you might get a +5 confusion if you tried

[–] Thornburywitch@aussie.zone 2 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I've never tried a bowl of milk on muggers. I thought they ate fish. But maybe I am wrong.

[–] 6368_39162@lemm.ee 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

This may depend upon the species of mugger, but I believe the littles do like a drop left on the porch

[–] Thornburywitch@aussie.zone 2 points 2 years ago

I believe baked goods are also considered highly acceptable too. Presumably to have with the milk.

Mix equal parts vinegar and water, add an iron ingot and steep under the full moon.

Using this may trigger combat so keep a thorn in your pocket

[–] Thornburywitch@aussie.zone 4 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Keeping a thorn in the pocket triggers more than just combat - it triggers MENDING. Which is a form of combat I guess.

[–] melbaboutown@aussie.zone 2 points 2 years ago

Yeah you gotta keep the passives going

[–] baconmash@aussie.zone 4 points 2 years ago (2 children)

If no one believes in fairies, they cease to exist.

Bloody Disney has a lot to answer for, but this is the major one. Wrong on all counts.

[–] baconmash@aussie.zone 1 points 2 years ago

that’s what fairies would say

[–] 6368_39162@lemm.ee 2 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Then what just bit your ankle?

An infestation of fairies is probably less hassle than bed bugs, not that I’d wish either upon a purveyor of fine breakfasts

[–] baconmash@aussie.zone 2 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I'd summon fairies if I have bed bugs. Had them before. Almost traded my soul to get rid of them.

@baconmash @6368_39162 there is a way. It's actually being commercialised overseas but last I checked hadn't come to AU because the market is too small.
