Hopefully most who figured this out would move their wealth from fiat into real investments even before crypto was around.
Yeah I'm deep in stocks, getting my money to make me money. But crypto would fall into a similar trap as gold no? It doesn't generate significant profit on its own, so it only appears to gain value as fiat depreciates. A good store of value, but not reliable for capital growth.
This is correct, it is good to have some gold and crypto but as a relatively small part of your wealth portfolio. Hopefully as the defi space matures into fully decentralized and permission-less we can begin to migrate more investments over.
