And after the Nazis were gone, her sister Inge Scholl, called Aicher-Scholl after marrying Otl Aicher, founded the HfG, the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Ulm.
The americans promised her that if she would scrape together one million dollars of funding, they would give her another million, and she managed to do it.
So then the HfG, designed by architect Max Bill, was built, and under the lead of Walter Gropius, the Bauhaus was reborn.
