It's gotten so bad, I expect the next WW2 era first person shooter won't be having a Russian campaign this time.

Nah they'll have one but it'll be about all of the destroyer battalions of the NKVD with you playing as Putin's father burning Ukrainian villages with zero context in regards to why it was done.
