Sure, but if you don't own a steam deck already, and you only have a PS5, this will be less expensive.
And 2x the price of a good Samsung tablet that can also do remote play. Plus more functionality.
I've played on a tablet, and I would prefer to have a proper controller.
Yea same. Also I've checked on my MacBook yesterday and the highest selectable quality is 720p. Having 1080p in a comfortable device I can easily lay on the couch with .. why are people against it so much? It's awesome, and cheap lol
I think for me the issue is the price and the niche usecase. I could just prop my laptop/tablet up and use remote play, if they expanded remote play to do this same thing. So it feels like for the price, we're getting a device that is a Frankenstein of a controller and tablet, but can only be used for streaming PS5 games locally. Feels like something that will have zero resale value too, ya know? So it's just the value proposition for me.
