also I read amythest's privacy report and they send data to google it sounds like lol

The app may collect a per-device token, your public key, and a preferred Relay to connect to and provide push notification services through Google's Firebase Cloud Messaging.

It doesn't point to malintent. It means they make use of Google Play Services, but which is bad for privacy. The solution is to flash your device with a ROM that doesn't have Play Services, if that's possible, or to disable all the permissions for Play Services. But then you'll receive notifications with a delay, which is probably okay for an app like Amethyst. But even Session needs to use Play Services to deliver notifications in realtime.
