Shit, that's intense. Also interesting that a lot of the enemy troops have civilian clothing under. The plate carriers also don't seem to be helping much.

There have been countless accounts of Russian mobiks and people drafted into LPR and DPR forces having to purchase their own gear, getting old and broken stuff etc.pretty much from the start of the war.
Then again Ukrainians are not always able to equip units well either. Donating helps.
Yeah that stuck out to me as well, they look like some sort of militia more than regular armed forces. Par for the course I suppose, and goes to show that Russia's facing shortages even in something as seemingly basic as uniforms
