maybe you, hypothetical reader, like many people, have personally engaged in nonviolent anti-fash movements in the US over the last 15 years? perhaps heavily invested in them, to the detriment of other career pursuits? looking at the way things have gone, how would you rate the efficacy of the nonviolent movements in the US?
personally think they haven't accomplished or progressed their goals meaningfully, and that feels bad to say about my own work but in my case at least feels like i've always just been a community band-aid
