Wait, is she actually just that stupid? I thought she was a standard conservitive conman but it's starting to look more and more like she is just honestly mindbogglingly dumb enough to have actually believed it all.
i'm going with "she's actually that stupid". There's only two ways to be a woman in the GOP, and everything i've seen tells me she is just the stupid kind.
She's just doing the typical right wing thing of reacting now that she's directly affected. It's the usual "why is this allowed to happen to me and who is no-one doing anything about it?!!"
It's not a moment of clarity but a realisation that her privilege is under threat
A "brainwashed smart conman" is not necessarily a contradiction, they make for some of the best preaching puppets out there.
