TBH, I don't know why a zionist would want to date someone who'd even put "no zionists" in their profile in the first place if anything this is just encouraging everyone to waste their time.

A lot of young right wingers are complaining that people knowing their political stances makes it hard to date. They're hoping to trick people into dating them, effectively.

I don't see how this would matter though. In a dating app, someone who refuses to date zionists will notice if pro-zionism is on their profile and not match with them or even block them. If there is no mentioned zionism on the rightwinger's profile and the rightwinger is trying to trick people into dating them whether the anti-zionist is able to post "No Zionists" on their profile is immaterial, the rightwinger will try to match with them regardless.

If a large portion of people are putting it in their profiles, NOT putting it can make you stand out?

If no one can, they won't stand out. Sure they could lie, but now they don't have to

That's not the reason for it. They want to ensure it isn't normalized. If you start seeing a lot of people openly saying they're anti-zionist, people who seem reasonable and generally agree with you, then you may consider that the propoganda you've been fed saying it's wrong inst accurate.
