Real people use em dashes. I use them regularly and have since I was, like, thirteen years old. Any frequent reader will be familiar and comfortable with them.
How do you type them?
Usually two hyphens followed by a space, but it depends what you're using. Could just be two hyphens.
I'm fairly certain Microsoft Word converts normal dashes to emdashes automatically.
On Windows it's Alt + 0151 — or 0150 for the smaller one – although that's slightly different
It's only one dash in the whole article, and there's a colon where GPT would've absolutely used another...so not likely AI.
Also, the visit was very widely talked about in mainstream news. It's not suspicious at all.
