When I say harder to read I mean like too contemplative or like it just drags on. Like I love shield hero but the fights have been so grating on me, they're so long and so wordy I've just been skimming fights.

Or in 86 the philosophical points are nice the first time but not the next 100 times, oh but I love the combat scenes, so I skim the other stuff except the cute shin/Lena moments.

Danmachi and grimgar I find far more enjoyable as a whole read. Honestly I'm leaning towards better writing but maybe it's just not for me

Do any of y'all have any similar issues?

For some of these I may just keep up with the anime. That’s way easier

That's awfully optimistic to think we'll get a completely adapted anime. :(

That's why I started reading like grimgar and danmachi, I waited years and now one of them continued but so many didn't and may not
