According to Google Lens, it's called a York Chocolate cat which makes it even more adorable lol, dunno if it's male or female but either way it's a good friendly cat, always comes up to me even when I'm a few feet away from it.

My childhood cat was a York chocolate. They are very vocal, quite smart (like can open doors smart), and extremely friendly, if mine was how they ordinarily are.

She was a really great girl. Even people who don't like cats would tell me they wanted to steal her. If that's a York chocolate, and no one owns him/her, snatch that up! They are really rare. Not even really a recognized breed.
