ML's when you point how many resources USSR had traded with Nazi Germany, which allowed them to commit to their war effort in the first place.
Ultras desparately trying to argue that the country that spent a decade trying to form an anti-fascist coalition, and ended up being by far the most important power in defeating the Nazis (with ~85% of total Nazis killed under their belt), actually was pro-Nazi for having engaged in a deal for desparately needed processed goods while preparing for war with said country because the west wouldn't provide what they needed
Most of europe traded with nazi germany until the war broke out, but the US trade with nazi germany was especially egregious, as some US companies continued business and making profits during the war. Ford, GE, IBM, and Dow chemical are really bad cases. Coke even re-branded its operations in nazi germany as "fanta", to be able to continue making a profit during the war.
...there's no end to the depravity when there's a buck to be made, huh?
Never ask a lib what Hearst media was doing during those years.
Seeing liberal complaints about the USSRs actions in the lead up to WW2 makes it pretty obvious they're just mad the USSR didn't get defeated by Germany
This proves what exactly? China trades with the US right at this very moment and the hostility is quite clear, albeit diminished europe also mantains trade with Russia at this very moment too, geopolitics are not as infantile as "i dont like you i dont want to trade with you anymore :(" π
Turn out, libs would just like Trumpian trade policies if he wasn't so moderate and instead of tariffs just outright stopped trade lol.
