I just have the miata, don't need anything else right now. If I really need to haul something I can borrow my mothers car I suppose, but I rarely need to haul anything big. You can fit a surprising amount of stuff in the trunk, items just can't be too tall. You can very easily get a weeks worth of groceries for one or two people in it

Can kind of relate- had a Fiero for many years- but its trunk was DEEP so tall things fit fine. Seems it was about the same as a Miata's, just turned upwards.
