I'm selfish. I want people educated, housed, and cared for so they don't rob me.
I don't want to dump sewage in the river, so I can drink the water when I visit down stream.

I want people housed, educated, and queer so they populate niche game lobbies.
I'd like to help everyone homeless in my city so the LRT train stations aren't drug dens smelling of body fluids and excrement. I'd like to walk the river valley in the spring without finding thawing corpses.
