You are not very good at keeping up...

I already corrected you, saying it's not exactly homophobic to use it. It doesn't turn you into a homophobe. But it does inadvertently support homophobia, in my opinion.

There's a difference between supporting it (perhaps unknowingly), and actually being homophobic.

Yes? 🀌

And it doesn't matter how long ago it was.

You think naming your child Adolf Hitler wouldn't be supporting Nazism? iT wAs sO lOnG aGo?!

naming your child adolf is something you actively did just now

saying using a browser who's ceo did something 17 years ago that is no longer a danger to the gay community is inadvertently supporting homophobia is different

but it seems like we agree that it's not actually homophobic, but that comment you quoted earlier did, and there's fundamentalists like that who do

So is choosing your browser, and I'm actively choosing not to use Brave, because in my mind, it's tainted. I don't care if it was 17 years ago.

We might agree that it's not being homophobic, but I'm saying that it actually supports homophobia, in my opinion. So I choose not to use it.

so i support homophobia by using brave? indeed engaging with any company with a religious person benefiting significantly from that company, is supporting homophobia.

In my opinion, yes. Probably not willingly. More inadvertently. You may disagree, that's your prerogative.

Being religious doesn't have to mean being homophobic by the way.
