Generally, an artifact should be 100+ years old, but this is a flexible requirement if you find something rare and suitably linked to an era of history, not a strict rule. Anything over 100 is fair game regardless of rarity.

I love that so many of these royal suits of armor survived. One of King Henry VIII's suits of armor is on public display at the Met in NYC.
Running into it and getting a sense of his actual physical proportions was really neat. Almost feels like meeting the man himself.
