The fall of the alt right is one of the left's greatest victories, what can we learn from it ?

Welcome to Progressive Politics! A place for news updates and political discussion from a left perspective. Conservatives and centrists are welcome just try and keep it civil :)
(Sidebar still a work in progress post recommendations if you have them such as reading lists)
The alt rights main goal was more power or at least better unity and institutional positions for white people. how has the position of white people gotten better since 2017
Here's the thing, it hasn't. Because that's not how this works. Racist laws don't help white people that are still stealt from, they just harm the minorities more. They look like they improve the standing of whites, but that's merely because they've degrading others rights at a faster rate than whites'.
I am sorry what ? This is so wrong it's insulting to victims of racism, let's say that Black people are not allowed to own houses, that would make houses cheaper for White people as there is less competition for buyers, let's say that Black people aren't allowed to be idk sys admins, that means whie sys admisn have less competition and can demand higher wages.
It would, sadly landlords don't like to make houses cheap.
Everyone in any position of influence in the federal government that isn't white is being labeled a DEI hire and fired. Words related to the discussion of any issue not purtaining to white people have been labeled 'woke' and banned by government censors. The civil rights division of the Department of Justice no longer prevents discrimination against minorities. Instead the civil rights lawyers are being deployed with the goal of destroying minority groups in any manner possible.
