Really came down to the wire to get this done before pride month was over, but, after many months, I'm finally happy with how it looks! This was supposed to be my "low-effort army", so much for that lmao.

That's an amazing way to hide the standee into the base that looks natural and sells the illusion of flying!
Swooping Hawks are such cool models. I never got them when I bought my Eldar since you could only get the metal ones through mail order.
Thanks, but I can't take all the credit; the actual pillar of smoke is built into the model at the toes. The rest of the squad is just standing on cool rocks, but I'm hoping that by using more resin bases it'll sell the illusion of flying around a tropical lake as well.
It's a shame how long it took for the Hawks (and other aspect warriors) to get a plastic kit. This is a third-party model (from artelw), and most of the rest of my force is as well. Ironically, I ordered these like a month before the new refresh was announced.
