Does accusing everything who disagrees with you of being with the state department help keep the groupthink strong?
Does being an internet warrior supporting wars help you sleep at night? If I had ever wanted to fight I would of gone to Syria back in 2015 when somebody offered me the chance I said no because im a pacifist. I know of several anarchists who went to fight in Ukraine and bounced because they realised it’s a fucking bloodbath, I’ve also met quite a few Ukrainians who got the fuck out because they didn’t want to be forced to die in a war.

Now let me tell you something about me, I grew up in diplomatic circles and lived in Kuwait during the second gulf war, it was pretty funny because the TV kept talking about weapons of mass destruction meanwhile everybody on the ground knew that was fucking bullshit. Only the dumbest American troops believed that shit but those guys lived on a base and basically never saw the outside world. It was a pretty good lesson on how the media can manufacture consent, and guess what I saw the exact same thing happen with Ukraine.
