now with AI, how long until someone edits the sequels so they are about darthJarJar?
Im surprised that hasnt happen yet
I'm so disappointed with AI 'art'
when it came out I was aware of all their problems, but I was curious, I knew it would bring a lot of slop, but I wondered what would artists could do with such powerful tools.
Imagine fan made movies about webcomics, made by the artist, who could only do a few panels a day, but now in a week he can make a short movie in any style they want, especially copying their own style.
I expected to have a full Jurassic park movie where they made the dinosaurs more scientifically accurate.
or more nuanced use, like imagine a strategy game, an artist draws 5 houses, then trains a small diffusion model to copy the style of said house, so now every house you place will fit the art style but be unique, repeat with all structures and assets. Same could be done with textures and you will never see repeating texture squares.
However, all we get is short form slop. haven't seen a single use of generative AI that was actually worth consuming.
