Most scrolls went into the armor. The axe only got one, ring of might got none, ring of haste got two, early armor got two before it was switched out for plate.
interesting. I almost never play melee, so I dump all my scrolls into one item.
Maybe I'm playing wrong and that is why it took so many games to beat it. This was the first time I didnt die on the first floor of the last section of the dungeon. Which amazed me honestly. I guess dumping so many scrolls into the armor was worthwhile.
I tried all the classes and the only one I ever had any success with was huntress so maybe dumping all your scrolls into one item is the way to go for mage and cleric? No idea.
I mean, I don't think there is a right way.
Obviously you are having fun enough to keep playing so you are doing it right.
I just found that i could manage distances better with a big honking wand. I also can always get 1-3 bonus levels reliably with proper imbuing management, getting that wand up to level 20-22.
And a level 20 wand makes short work of just about anything.
