I was lucky today that drivers behind kept a safe distance. Nearly had my first crash. (files.catbox.moe)

Car stalled after braking, I think I forgot to use the clutch. I then promptly failed to start the car somehow, not sure how but I was rushing a bit. This situation could have turned out so much worse and I fully thought it would be my first crash from a rear-end but bless the drivers behind for keeping a safe distance. I thought I might have missed seeing the deer but on rewatch I think it was blocked entirely by the truck until the last moment.

Hey I am glad you're okay. Sounds terrifying. Thank god those folks were on it. Jeez! Trucks are such constant terrors on the road nowadays. I can't fault them, because they exist and people have every right to own them. Just wish they made the road safer, instead of seemingly putting anyone not in a truck in harms way. My gal got hit, first accident ever, rear end - was a truck driver. Felt this way for a while though, before then.
