Some Rules

Posting a link to a website containing tracking isn't great, if contents of the website are behind a paywall maybe copy them into the post
Don't promote proprietary software
Try to keep things on topic
If you have a question, please try searching for previous discussions, maybe it has already been answered
Reposts are fine, but should have at least a couple of weeks in between so that the post can reach a new audience

Android privacy: to custom ROM or not (lemmy.blahaj.zone)

With whatever Google's been doing lately to android, and the general decline in custom ROMs, I'm wondering if custom ROMs are even worth the hassle anymore or if just tweaking settings and using ADB on any phone is enough these days. Thoughts and suggestions?

Also non-child miners tend to be more expensive

Child miners should unionised raise their rates.

I guess the next best thing is a cheap used Pixel and flash it yourself, then you're recycling!
