Uhh. Because the competition is also made in China? And Chinese companies used the money they got from American companies offloading their production to the cheapest markets to develop their MoP and now have the best factories on earth? Because capitalism systematically cannibalizes itself for every scrap of short term profit imaginable? And the capitalists will, in fact, sell us the rope we will use to hang them?
