Which part of cyber security entices you? Because it's a large field and it's like saying you want to be a programmer.
Red Teaming
Offensive security by deliberately picking at something till it breaks and you get shell.
Blue Teaming
Making sure things are patched and up to date, reviewing Nessus or Qualis(?) scan reports and resolving the findings.
Those are 2 examples.
I want to get into ethical hacking and penetrating. Cuz I’ve always thought that is cool and fun. And to help find ways to stop or prevent things like ransomeware.
