The woman was attacked while on her way to Pride celebrations, friends said.

Unfortunately with some basic chemical knowledge it can be obtained rather easily from household items or hardware stores: Batteries, cleaning products, bleach,...

probably battery acid. HCL might be more difficult you would have to get them from industrial sources. h2so4 is more acidic than hcl.
