How's Theil feel about Musk? I'd think a demented catty Broadway enthusiast who just wants to golf and ride around on planes would be a safer bet than a ketamine addled eugenecist who everybody hates within a week of meeting him.

Plus no way magats turn on Trump, pretty sure Elon and Rudy or Bannon are gonna be in similar situations soon.

Maybe things have changed but Thiel used to pretty openly hate Musk. They fought over ownership of Paypal and Thiel talking shit about him is how I know Musk wanted to rename Paypal to X.com as well

Yeah, everyone concerned about a Vance coup is missing that Trump personally is the critical piece holding together sufficient popular support to keep the whole facade from crumbling. If he was seen to be removed by a tech billionaire, his base would become religiously apoplectic.
