City of Brass, by S.A. Chakraborty, It was the cover that caught my eye in the library and turning it over it actually sounded as an interesting read. But by looking it up online I realized that in my native tong (wich edition the library held) hadn't translated all books in the series yet. So I let it go. Than came across the whole series in English as it was written in, in a bookstore. And well here we are.

So far, I am only on the first 140pages or so, but I love the tension, and the slight humor it has, and the characters are interesting. The downside though less while I am getting used to most, and having found the glossary is there are a lot of unfamiliar words of wich the meaning cannot always be gleamed well from the text. I am somewhat used to this, but for some reason I cannot grasp they took me out of the story here multiple times.
