I’m talking about a new game but made with old graphics and mechanics similar to Megaman 9 & 10.

I personally think such a thing could sell gangbusters and honestly go on record as one of the greatest Pokemon games ever made, especially in recent years.

Reposted from !games@lemmy.world, here (they got a lot of responses), figured this would definitely be appropriate here, especially since I complained in the !games post about it being posted there first instead of here. Might as well be the change I want to see in the world.

one could argue bdsp was that (chibi style), but they picked d p as the basis, instead of platinum, which made them bad to begin with, had poor level curve (easy weasy .... easy much-much-hard), and also unstable. If bdsp would have been a better eleae, people might have better expectations
