Mine is literally being held together by two rubber bands.

Suggestions for a new one would be most welcome. Though to be clear, I'm not asking for an idealised wallet, I'm asking for the specific one that you have now that has lasted you X years without complaint

Saddleback leather company. It's expensive but my last wallet was 12 years old and looked like it had barely started to wear. I only replaced it because it was stolen. I have no doubt their tag line of 'they'll fight over it when you're dead' is exactly what you're getting.
