Also, no. But be fucking honest about it.
A platform with so many people and that knows so much about them, if they really wanted to slap AI on it why not an AI matchmaker for making friends?
Want to make it profitable? Sell activities through it. "Meet a potential friend and go bowling, click to buy your ticket". While FB siphon off a bit of profit on the ticket sales.
I'm pretty sure that's called facebook. Have you ever added suggested contacts?. "Here are some people you might know"
That is people you might already know, not people you might like to get to know
