Yeah, in the West they would have just rolled right over the top of him.

(Incidentally, it's interesting that westerners post this - truncated - clip almost constantly, yet most of them have never even seen a photo of Rachel Corrie)

Incidentally, thousands of people were killed in Tiananmen Square. Even today, people are being oppressed for even talking about it.
