Imagine a society so shallow and superficial that your daily survival depends on the sophisticated cosmetics you purchase, how you apply them, and every little utterance you make. And how people will re-post this same superficial mocking years, years and years on social machines to dehumanize the "stars" they consume from while people are homeless, starving, and without essential medical care and needs all across the world. Because millions of people day after day have nothing they desire more to do with their social machines and global communications networks.
