I agree with President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah on this point. If any country requires Namibians to have a visa, citizens of that country should be required to have a visa to go to Namibia. I also think birthright citizenship should only be granted to the citizens of countries that offer birthright citizenship to others. I live in Japan and even if both of your parents are in the country legally and you are born here, you won't be able to get citizenship. One of your parents has to be a citizen of Japan or you will be an immigrant for life. I love Japan but if they don't offer birthright citizenship, it shouldn't be extended to them by other nations.

Now the republicans will impose a +100% visas for Namibia!

That's stupid. If a state offers birthright citizenship is about naturalization of people living there, not what some other country does.

I agree about it being about the naturalization of people living there. I am just saying, do onto others as they do onto you. If an American can't get birthright citizenship in Japan then Japanese citizens who give birth in America, shouldn't receive citizenship for their child either. Give the child a Green Card just like Japan does for Americans who have children born in Japan. The same should apply to all countries. They should choose which foreign nationals get birthright citizenship based on reciprocal agreements.
