An old oil drum with the side cut out.

Its cheap as fuck and it's the best barbecue you'll ever get.

If you're feeling up to it, it feels amazing to make your own, but you'll need things like an angle grinder and spot welder. Great project to learn those skills on, though!

I built a brick one combined with a sheet of stainless steel and an old cooker grid. It was amazing. Weber is massively overpriced and not as a good as even the worst DIY job.
