Late Stage Capitalism

The US could do better to make themself look strong rather than making obvious threats. They could hide their threats to weak countries or disguise the threats as mutual partnerships. They could use soft power for rich countries. They could coerce one country at a time. Even a novice politician will know that an overt threat to all former global empires is a foolish act. Donald Trump likely has a different goal and interest for the alienation of the US.
