This is a Dengist community in favor of Bashar al-Assad with no information that can lead to the arrest of Hillary Clinton, our fellow liberal and queen. This community is not ironic. We are Marxists-Leninists.
This community is for posts about Marxism and geopolitics (including shitposts to some extent). Serious posts can be posted here or in /c/GenZhou. Reactionary or ultra-leftist cringe posts belong in /c/shitreactionariessay or /c/shitultrassay respectively.
We have a Matrix homeserver and a Matrix space. See this thread for more information. If you believe the server may be down, check the status on status.elara.ws.
Rules:
- No bigotry, anti-communism, pro-imperialism or ultra-leftism (anti-AES)
- We support indigenous liberation as the primary contradiction in settler colonies like the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Israel
- If you post an archived link (excluding archive.org), include the URL of the original article as well
- Unless it's an obvious shitpost, include relevant sources
- For articles behind paywalls, try to include the text in the post
- Mark all posts containing NSFW images as NSFW (including things like Nazi imagery)

hang on guys, I just stumbled in from the bear site. so is this like the equivalent of the hexbear megathread? I'm still really confused about how this federation stuff works
pretty much, except it's always in the same community
oh sick, you guys can put the hammer and sickle in your username. nice
it's a unicode character so you can put ☭ in your username on any site
No, there were issues
Probably? I dunno what the bear thread is but this is a weekly post where you can comment whatever
We have a daily megathread that people volunteer to do a short writeup of one topic or another and is placed in whatever comm is appropriate. Then the site uses it as basically a local twitter.
:0 what an interesting custom. I guess this thread isn't like that then
The comment section of the thread is almost exactly the same except for the the daily vs. weekly aspect. At hexbear there's a mini essay or something like that as the post body each day but it's usually not what gets talked about much. People being able to just make a comment about whatever or chatting about what they feel like is the same both places.
I checked out the August 7th thread and yeah you're right. I wonder how they decide on who gets posting duty for the day
I gotcha. RIP to Chicago furries though
