Hollywood is always writing their own shit, never just taking a GREAT story from the comics and making it a movie. If you read "Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow" you know what I'm talking about.

I know they'll be little changes here and there, but the fact that this actor is sitting with a comic book in her lap and that's the movie that they're fucking making?

KAPOW! THIS IS GOING TO BE EPIC!

Hoping it’s not complete garbage. James Gunn has a pretty good track record

I think it's going to be not him, he just is the creative head. Someone else is directing and writing I believe.

From what I've heard so far they're taking it pretty seriously. It's a badass story, and Supergirl should be getting a lot of attention after this if they pull it off. She really kicks ass in this comic.
