I saw someone speculating a while ago that they might do this to make the jury chuddier because jury members in death penalty cases can be disqualified for not approving of the death penalty in general.

Which is why people need to keep that shit to themselves. Also not sure if that will make much of a difference. He has pretty broad support from people across the political spectrum.

Some of my chud relatives were initially in support of it..... for like a day. Then the GOP (and Democrat) establishment came out against it and they all followed suit.

Nice, I'm still technically not lying. I'm not against the death penalty in general, only when administered by capitalist crooked legal systems. I'm all for putting CEOs against the wall

While that’s true, juries are still less likely to convict when the death penalty is on the table, because they feel bad about it even if they’re theoretically in favor of it
