Dear god post-grunge was awful. I call it Iraq war core. Fun fact: the lead singer of this is Aaron Lewis, a noxious chud who wrote a miserable song called "Am I the Only One" a few years back.

Another fun fact: nothing is worse than Creed. Nickleback is the easy punching bag, Creed is the true villain of post-grunge.

tiktok is the only format where creed excels because it has good soundbites, but terrible everything else. "Hold me now I'm six feet from the edge and I'm slipping" makes a good 10 second soundbite to suggest something more in the style tiktok and other very short form content has, where the idea isn't a whole video about it, it's the suggestion, the vibe of a very particular situation

Have you heard of Alter Bridge? It's what Creed became when their lead singer had some mental problems. I know a guy who that's his favorite band
