This is a Dengist community in favor of Bashar al-Assad with no information that can lead to the arrest of Hillary Clinton, our fellow liberal and queen. This community is not ironic. We are Marxists-Leninists.
This community is for posts about Marxism and geopolitics (including shitposts to some extent). Serious posts can be posted here or in /c/GenZhou. Reactionary or ultra-leftist cringe posts belong in /c/shitreactionariessay or /c/shitultrassay respectively.
We have a Matrix homeserver and a Matrix space. See this thread for more information. If you believe the server may be down, check the status on status.elara.ws.
Rules:
- No bigotry, anti-communism, pro-imperialism or ultra-leftism (anti-AES)
- We support indigenous liberation as the primary contradiction in settler colonies like the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Israel
- If you post an archived link (excluding archive.org), include the URL of the original article as well
- Unless it's an obvious shitpost, include relevant sources
- For articles behind paywalls, try to include the text in the post
- Mark all posts containing NSFW images as NSFW (including things like Nazi imagery)

Beautiful, more of a CPC fan myself, which is odd given that I am a ML and not a Maoist, but open to the idea.
Maoism is a dogmatist deviation of marxism and completely divorced from Mao himself, it came from the Shining Path in Peru in 1988. Now there is a maoism in China but the way they use the word means Mao Zedong Thought, not Guzman's interpretation. Actually I don't even think most Chinese are aware of the Shining Path. Today China's ideology is officially Socialism with Chinese Characteristics.
Lemmygrad is Marxist-Leninist, but Hexbear is non-sectarian just to let you know. Although I think most of us on Hexbear are ML.
But, yeah, Maoism is different from Mao Zedong Thought as the Comrade was pointing out. Maoism is kinda wild but I appreciate their linguistic dialect. Mao Zedong Thought along with Dengism, I think, is pretty cool considering how effective it was in the construction of contemporary China. I am more Third Worldist now than I used to be, if that's what you mean, in thinking that the US will not see a successful movement until it's no longer the home of a bourgeois-aspiring labor aristocracy. There is more potential in the Global South until then and we'll only see the US lose that crucial aspect as the Global South develops politically and economically, I think.
