This is a flex. They are showing how brazen they can be and it should surprise no one. I hate that we have a dictatorship and the opposition party is passively complicit at best.

you're right. i mean, the executive has pretty much declared war on the judicial. now we just wait. it should be concerning that some of the world's best countries are issuing travel warnings to the us. we all know it's just a matter of time before he sends a journalist to a foreign work prison.

It’s important to emphasize that legality does have meaning. Their goal is to normalize a fractured and recontextualized notion of legality for the purposes of authoritarianism.
