For those that have had enough of the Elon Musk worship online.
No flaming, baiting, etc. This community is intended for those opposed to the influx of Elon Musk-related advertising online. Coming here to defend Musk or his companies will not get you banned, but it likely will result in downvotes. Please use the reporting feature if you see a rule violation.
Opinions from all sides of the political spectrum are welcome here. However, we kindly ask that off-topic political discussion be kept to a minimum, so as to focus on the goal of this sub. This community is minimally moderated, so discussion and the power of upvotes/downvotes are allowed, provided lemmy.world rules are not broken.
Post links to instances of obvious Elon Musk fanboy brigading in default subreddits, lemmy/kbin communities/instances, astroturfing from Tesla/SpaceX/etc., or any articles critical of Musk, his ideas, unrealistic promises and timelines, or the working conditions at his companies.

So you feel morally justified destroying people's Teslas because you don't like Musk?
Musk helped save those stranded astronauts, but yet he's a monster.
Musk has a company that's working on neuralnet chips to help paraplegics. But that doesn't count ?
While the social crusaders would rather see us plunged into WW3 so they can tell conservatives "I told you so" rather than see Trump settle the Ukraine/Russia war.
People vandalizing and destroying Tesla's on the dealer lot or even people's privately owned vehicles, because they feel it's their civic duty to ruin people's lives, despite those Tesla owners most likely being liberals, but yet they're the tolerant party. Because Musk made a "siege heil" gesture that has been misperceived. Mostly because he is associated with Trump.
"Dogequest" site owners doxxing and intimidating Tesla owners to change parties and sell their Teslas to prove their allegiance isn't fascist like at all. Not to mention condoning the vandalism.
One idiot managed to set himself on fire with his own Molotov cocktails in an attempt to destroy Tesla charging stations.
Several others were caught on the onboard cameras keying Teslas and those same people were arrested and charged afterwards.
That's alright. Keep thinking that you're the morally justified crusaders while using "J6" as leverage, just more pathetic displays of extreme human behavior. Possibly on a more depraved level than those you protest.
The people hurting others are accusing Musk of hurting others. The irony is thick.
