Edit: from the comments it looks like Gerband is way superior to Tesa and also from Germany.

But Tesa gaffer tape is shit.

At least in a professional setting it is frowned upon because it leaves a lot of glue residue on floors and cables, which is a pain in the ass to clean.

Gerband is also German and the way better product, at least regarding gaffers tape.
