What is an unofficial ChatGPT API supposed to be? One where you dont have to pay? I‘d hazard a guess that if that exists, it would just be a wrapper around someone elses API token, for which they are paying. Questions is whether they know about that usage…
Any OpenAI compatible API I'd assume. OpenRouter and Poe are legal, sanctioned examples.
Edit: Reading over the OP's other comments better, it's apparent this ain't what they're asking for, and instead they're looking for... Weird, hacky shit.
I have chatgpt subscription.
Yes I can create openai token - but it's going to incure additional and significant costs.
I was hoping to just use chatgpt plus subscription in vs code and not signup for separate product.

is there some hack/crack extension to piggy back on chatgpt plus subscription and use it like copilot in vscode?
