I don't see why people are so against the developer using ads. If you don't like them, you can remove them yourself with an adblocker, you don't need the dev to do that. If you consider ads an ethical violation, you shouldn't see using an adblocker as unethical.

That's not really my point. If people are demanding that everything should be free, they can just make them free and stop whining about it.
