Im surprised Moomin Papa would be so distraught over bad language. Maybe hes just looking for some conflict to make sure that he wont be bored for a while longer.

I think that's Moomin Mama that is inspecting the crate.

Yeah but it looks like he is violently opening the crate and she is telling him not to hurt them too badly.
