The machine turns out to be just a boy with horns.
Boy: "Hi!"
Penguin: "You're not a ghost!"
Boy: "Nope! Just a boy looking for some things for my game."

Girl is enamored.
Boy: "You guys wanna try it?"
Penguin: "A game?! Yes!"
Penguin to Girl: "What is wrong with you?"
Girl, Boy, Penguin play homebrew pong and have a good time.
Penguin and Girl walk home.
Penguin: "You saw he was wearing a skirt, right?"
